Senseonics (SENS) continues to prove its product

Diabetes device management company Senseonics (SENS) continues to prove it’s product usage with its recent announcement of a collaboration with Cleveland’s University Hospitals Accountable Care Organization.

The care organization has begun offering the Eversense CGM System to its Medicare enrollees effective early September, 2021. The recent decision to use the Eversense CGM System in eligible patients with type 1 diabetes or type 2 diabetes on insulin shows the commitment of UHACO to facilitate optimal diabetes management for its enrollees.

This will allow organization staff to get experience with the insertion procedure so when the 180 day and 365 day sensors come they already know how to administer the insertion procedure.

Another significant business update is the appointment of John Morrota to the Board of Directors.

John Morrota, age 41, has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of PHC Holdings Corporation, a diversified global life sciences, diagnostics and medical device company with 10,000 employees globally in 125 countries and $3Billion in revenue since December, 2020. This appointment should solidify confidence in all long term holders of SENS stock, John has a phenomenal experience, and has served as CEO of PHC Holdings Corporation, which is the Parent Company of Ascensia. For him to join the board on Senseonics makes me even more confident in the company’s future.
