IFIC Monthly Investment Fund Statistics – January 2023

TORONTO, Feb. 22, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) today announced investment fund net sales and net assets for January 2023.

Mutual fund assets totalled $2.021 trillion at the end of January 2023. Assets decreased by $55.3 billion or 2.7% compared to December 2023. Mutual funds recorded net sales of $7.2 billion in January 2023.

ETF assets totalled $342.5 billion at the end of January 2023. Assets decreased by $4.6 billion or 1.3% compared to December 2023. ETFs recorded net sales of $5.1 billion in January 2023.
